Purpose

Scouting places a series of surmountable challenges in front of a Scout in a manner that is fun and educational to a boy. As Scouts meet these challenges, they achieve the aims of Boy Scouting. Everything Scouts do to advance and earn rank is designed to help the Scout have an exciting and meaningful experience.
